OUR Story

Little Wings is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting seriously ill children in rural and regional QLD. We provide free, professional, and safe flight and ground transport services to help these children access specialised lifesaving medical treatment only available in major cities. At Little Wings, ‘Your Journey is Our Mission’ and we are here to help you through the toughest situations, thanks to the hard work and generous support of our community of partners, volunteers, and supporters.  Little Wings Queensland base is located at Archerfield Airport. 

PLANE ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great excitement and gratitude that we announce the support of the Queensland Government in the purchase of an aircraft, focused specifically on supporting seriously ill or injured children in regional and remote Queensland, helping up to 800 families. This planes first flight will be in operation in February 2025.

To raise further awareness in local communities about Little Wings and how they can continue to help families in need, Little Wings CEO, Clare Pearson, will be joining the Clubs Queensland roadshow with Kelly Egan, CEO of Clubs Queensland, to meet with club managers and their members. This is an invaluable opportunity to learn more about Little Wings' free services and explore how clubs can partner to support their local communities.

iNTRODUCING kOA

Introducing little Koa, 10 months old and a local of Chinchilla, QLD. Koa was born with premature and diagnosed with significant tumours that have seen him fly routinely to Queensland Hospital with Little Wings since birth.

Bentley

iNTRODUCING BENTLEY

Introducing baby Bentley, 3 months old and all the way from Theodore, QLD. Bentley was born with bilateral cleft palate and club feet. So this visit to Queensland Childrens Hospital was filled with specialist appointments with orthopaedics and audiologists, after his surgey.
