About Return and Earn
The Return and Earn container deposit scheme NSW Government initiative supports Little Wings. Through this program, our partners across NSW collect eligible containers, which are returned to designated collection points. For every container deposited, a 10-cent donation goes directly to Little Wings, helping us continue our vital work for the community.
About containers for change
Containers for Change is a Queensland Government initiative. Through this program, our partners across Queensland collect eligible drink containers, which are returned to designated recycling points. Each container earns a 10-cent refund, which is then donated directly to Little Wings. These contributions make a significant impact, helping us continue to provide vital services to families in need.
About the competition
From May 1st - July 9th 2025, this friendly rivalry between NSW and QLD aims to engage communities in a fun and impactful way, encouraging everyone to contribute to a cause that supports seriously ill children living in the regional and remote communities, providing free, safe and professional air and ground transport services, allowing these children to access life-saving medical care in the city Children’s Hospital network.
Participants will be able to track the progress of their state's contributions through regular updates on our socials and via email updates, fostering a sense of camaraderie and healthy competition.
